Refund Policy
1. What's covered
This policy applies to both Pro licence plans:
- Pro โ one-time (โฌ29): full refund within 30 days of purchase.
- Pro + Updates (โฌ19/year): full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase or any renewal.
The Free tier has nothing to refund โ nothing is charged.
2. How to request a refund
Email support@overtimelog.com within 30 days of the purchase date (or of an annual renewal) and include:
- The email address used at checkout, or the order ID on your receipt;
- (Optional, but helpful) what didn't work for you โ it's genuinely useful feedback, and it won't affect the refund.
You do not need to justify the request. "No questions asked" means no questions asked.
3. How long it takes
Refunds are processed through the original payment provider (LemonSqueezy or Stripe โ check your receipt). Our side is usually same-business-day; the provider then takes 5โ10 business days to return funds to your card or account, depending on your bank.
You'll receive confirmation emails from both OvertimeLog and the payment provider when the refund is issued.
4. What happens to your licence
When a refund is issued, the associated licence key is deactivated and the app reverts to the Free tier on next launch. Your local data (Slack history, billing adjustments, exports) stays exactly where it is โ refunds don't delete anything on your device.
5. After 30 days
After the 30-day window, refunds are handled case-by-case. If something broke on our side โ a regression that made the Software unusable, a bug that corrupted your data, a critical feature removed without a comparable replacement โ get in touch and we'll work something out, usually a pro-rata refund on the annual plan or a replacement key.
6. EU consumer rights
If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content under Directive 2011/83/EU. Our 30-day policy is broader than the statutory 14-day minimum and does not waive your rights under EU consumer law.
Note that by downloading and starting to use digital content, you may waive the statutory right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) of the Directive). Our voluntary 30-day policy applies regardless of whether you've started using the Software.
7. Chargebacks
If you're thinking about a chargeback, please email us first โ it's faster for you and cheaper for us. Chargebacks are typically resolved by issuing the refund anyway, just with a lot more paperwork and an extra fee we have to eat.
